TILLSAMMANS - En studie om organisationskultur och dess påverkan på verksamheten och individen

Abstract
The purpose of this study is to contribute to a bigger understanding of organizational culture by empirically examine how organizational culture can show and be perceived in a concrete way at one of IKEA’s stores. The results of the study is explained with help from the models “The three levels of culture” and “The organization’s impact”. It shows that the group is homogeneous and partly controlled by their culture. The organizational culture is in favor for the company and the group, but can partly be confusing for the individual. The confusion shows in the form of exclusion and role stress. For last, it also shows that the expectations from new employees can be difficult to meet for the company and can partly be caused by the company’s marketing.
