In this thesis I describe the process of composing three jazz compositions, arranging them to four different settings and performing them during my stay in Gothenburg. The four settings are traditional jazz piano trio (piano, upright bass, drums), strings quartet with piano, piano trio (piano, bass clarinet, tabla) and big band. The purpose was to gain experience with the aforementioned things and thus develop versatility as a composer and a musician.sv
