dc.description.abstract | In this thesis the author is experimenting with violin bow technique, using a baroque bow.
She is playing excerpts from the standard modern violinist's repertoire, solo and symphonic, with both a Tourte bow (modern bow) and the baroque bow. The different techniques used has then been documented and compared. The experiments have been filmed in normal speed and slow motion. | sv |
