Gerrit Rietveld Academy / Sandberg Institute holds a monthly series of Library Talks. During each talk an invited speaker introduces a list of maximum ten books to the audience that have been important to their practice, and that will be acquired for the occasion by the library. The idea is that the speakers can introduce how their practice has been constructed by the selected books and which different voices their practice consists of. The selection of books introduces different ways of reading our library collection: through the catalogue system and a custom made library card the library users can trace back these personal selections within the library.
