Lifestyle intervention in pregnant women with BMI ≥30 – an antenatal care project with personcentered approach
Abstract
The overall aim of this research was to evaluate whether a structured antenatal
lifestyle intervention at primary care level for pregnant women with obesity
could impact on maternal, perinatal and child health outcomes. A further aim
was to identify which intervention measures that were most favored by those
participants who successfully limited gestational weight gain (GWG). Finally,
we sought to evaluate the costs of the intervention and the relation of costs to
clinical outcomes.
