The purpose of this study was to empirically test the relations between ambidextrous leadership, individual innovative work behavior, and creative team climate for innovativeness in a Swedish healthcare setting. The sample consisted of medical professionals (n = 130) from seven different departments in a regional Swedish hospital. The results indicated that ambidextrous leadership had a positive relationship with creative team climate in a Swedish healthcare setting. However, the results also indicated that ambidextrous leadership had a significant negative effect on creative team climate, when interacting with innovative work behavior. The impact of ambidextrous leadership in a healthcare setting is further discussed.sv
