Abstract
I det psykosociala arbetet som hälso- och sjukvårdskurator möter vi dagligen berättelser från
personer med kroniska sjukdomar i svåra situationer vilket gör forskning kring det narrativa
förhållningssättet betydelsefull. Narrativt förhållningssätt inom hälso- och sjukvården
fokuserar på att hjälpa personer återta makt och kontroll av sina livsberättelser efter att
sjukdom gjort inträde i deras liv (Silvén Hagström, 2022). Syftet med studien är att genom en
litteraturstudie nå en kunskapsöversikt över hur det narrativa förhållningssättet behandlas
inom forskningen i relation till hälso- och sjukvårdskuratorns psykosociala arbete med
personer som diagnosticerats med en kronisk sjukdom inom den specialiserade hälso- och
sjukvården. Artiklarna har valts ut efter följande inklusionskriterier; kronisk sjukdom inom
den specialiserade somatiska hälso- och sjukvården, utförd senaste 10 åren, på engelska, peer
reviewd samt ett narrativt förhållningssätt. Avsteg motiveras med en särskild betydelse för
studiens område. Studien undersöker forskningen kring det narrativa förhållningssättet utifrån
ett intersektionellt perspektiv samt ett socialkonstruktionistiskt perspektiv då det är i mötet
med andra vi skapar förståelse, mening och identitet. Inom hälso- och sjukvården, och i
samhället, finns maktstrukturer och förgivvettagna normer vilket är viktig att belysa för att
arbeta mot en jämlik vård som är i enlighet med hälso- och sjukvårdslagen som statuerar
“vård på lika villkor för hela befolkningen”(SFS 2017:30). Resultatet visar på ett ökat behov
av psykosocialt stöd inom hälso- och sjukvården som arbetar med att möta patienter i deras
berättelser. Studien visar på att forskningen belyser följande delar; vikten av det
professionella stödet, fokus på empowerment samt funktionalitetens betydelse. Resultatet
visar att det narrativa förhållningssättet är nära knutet det intersektionella perspektivet då det
handlar om att se hela människan och arbeta för att vården och samhället ska vara jämlikt och
personcentrerat. Slutsatsen är att det narrativa förhållningssättet möjliggör en helhetssyn på
personen framför oss och att berättelsen har en stor betydelse då den skapar mening likväl
som den möjliggör ett normkritiskt och intersektionellt perspektiv i det dagliga arbetet inom
hälso- och sjukvården.
Description
In my daily work as a hospital health care counsellor, and from a psychosocial perspective, i
meet the storys from the persons who are chronically ill and in difficult situations. I therefour
consider that the research on the narrative approach is of great importance. Narrative
approach within the Health care system is focusing on how to help people regain the power
and control of their life stories after illness has entered their lives (Silvén Hagström, 2022).
The purpose of the study is through a systemtic litteratur overview reach knowledge of how
the narrativ approach is treated in reaserch in relation to health care counsellor´s psychosocial
work with persons diagnosed with a chronic disease in the sepcialized health care system.
This study is based upon a systemtic litteratur overview and the international articles
constituting the result comes from different parts within the area of Health care. The
commonpart are the persons who are chronically ill and the narrative approach. The articles
are chosen by certain inclusion critera; they are about chronically ill within the specialised
and somatic health care, within the last 10 years, on english, peer reviewd and with a fokus on
a narrativ approach. Departure is motivated with the special importans for the studie. The
study investigate research about the narrative approach from a intersectional perspective and a
social constructionistic perspektiv as it is in the meeting with other people that we create
understanding, meaning and identity. Within the Health care system, and in society, there are
power structures and for granted norms wich are of importens to illuminate in the work
towards a equal care accordingly to the health care law in Sweden. The result shows for a
growing need for psychosocial support within the Health care system and in the work with
patients and their stories. The research eludicit the importance of the support from
professionals, focus on the empowerment of persons of interest and the importence of
functionality. Results is pointing at the narrative approach as it´s closely connected to the
intersectional perspective in the way it views the persons as a whole and to work for an equal
and personcentred Health care and a society. The conclusion is that the narrativ approach
enabels a holistic approach on the person in front of us and that their stories are of great
importance hence it creates meaning as well as it enabels a normcritical and intersectional
perspective in hospital daily work.
