This is a ride through the process of a Sámi translating a book to Northern Sámi written by an Inuit writer, through translations in Norwegian, Danish and Swedish. I am investigating how I can implement an Indigenous paradigm to my Artistic Research of the process. Questions I discuss relate to assimilation politics, the wide gap between languages, cultural similarities and more. This ride ultimately leads me to believe that the artistic flow of a translation labour is released by the Indigenous Translator being in and nourishing her relations to her surroundings.en
