The purpose of the present study was to investigate if attachment style affects the association between extraversion and subjective well-being (SWB). Data was collected through a web-based questionnaire, responded by 350 Swedish adults. The questionnaire contained items regarding extraversion, SWB and attachment style. A moderation analysis was conducted, testing the hypothesis that attachment style moderates the positive correlation between extraversion and SWB. The results showed that a fearful attachment style does moderate the relationship between extraversion and SWB. Conclusions that can be drawn from this are that extraverts with a fearful attachment might suffer more from their attachment style than their introverted counterparts. Possibly due to introverts with a fearful attachment style being more comfortable alone.sv
