| dc.description.abstract | Absence From a Work Environment and Pupil Perspectivev In Sweden, the provisions of work environment legislation, which includes the physical as well as the psychosocial work environment, encompass pupils from the age of 5-6 years. The main purpose of the project was, from a perspective of preventive work environment improvement and health promoting, to describe psychosocial workload situations contributing to non-attendance at school among adolescent girls and boys. The information is based on questionnaires from 222 pupils. The results show that the 7th grade girls and boys had different psychosocial reasons for not attending school. Absence for the girls was connected to both relations with social peers and with relations with adults, while the boys' absence did not have any connections with relations with adults at school. The conclusion is that the psychosocial work environment contributed to a considerable amount of the causes of non-attendance from school. The pupils should be given influence and used as a resource when improving the school environment. | dc.description.abstract | Syftet med projektet var att ur ett preventivt arbetsmiljöförbättrande och hälsobefrämjande perspektiv, beskriva psykosocialt belastande situationer som bidragit till att flickor respektive pojkar varit frånvarande från skolan. Information baserad på självskattning av bl a belastande situationer, frånvaroorsaker, hälsa och negativ affektivitet genomfördes bland 222 elever. Resultatet visar att den psykosociala arbetsmiljön bidrar till en betydande del av elevernas frånvaro. Frånvaro hade för flickor samband både med vuxen- och kamratrelationer, för pojkar med kamratrelationer. Utifrån resultaten diskuteras förslag till ökad samverkan för en bra arbetsmiljö inom ramen för internkontrollen, samt behov av ökad kunskap om arbetsmiljö, speciellt viktigt för elever vid deras inträde i yrkeslivet. | swe |
