The Rise of China: Competing or Complementary to DAC Aid Flows in Africa?

Abstract
First and foremost, I am very grateful to my supervisor, Ann-Sofie Isaksson (IA). Thank you for your comments, valuable input, encouragement and all support throughout the whole process. Thank you also Arne Bigsten, for introducing me to IA last year, for the interest you have shown in my study and your valuable input. Furthermore, I am grateful to Sven Tengstam and Måns Söderbom for your advice and guidance concerning data and econometrics related issues. I would also like to thank my opponent Emil Biström for his valuable comments and interesting ideas about improvements and further development of this study.
