Adults read less and less for their children and this project wants to advocate reading, as part of children's language development and for building relationships between children and adults. The intention of the project is to tell a story to children and their adults through pictures and words. It is also to investigate what an exploratory approach can look like in a picture book process and whether it can make the result more genuine. During the process, imagery and dramaturgy have slowly taken shape. Choices of technique, themes and aesthetics are discussed and tested. The result is a story about dreaming of your own room, where the characters are children in the form of skeletons. The story also shows a sibling relationship, and how important it is to sometimes just have your own space.en_US
